Vermilion Parish Transportation is in need of substitute school bus drivers. If you are willing to drive in Vermilion Parish and are 21 years of age, have a good driving record, clean record with law enforcement, a high school diploma or GED is preferred, and work well with children, this may be an opportunity to consider.

 

I will be instructing a course on School Bus Driver Safety and Defensive Driving. This course prepares you to get the endorsements needed to get a Class B CDL at the DMV to drive a school bus.

• This course is FREE OF CHARGE!

• Must be able to attend all four sessions for the entire time.

• Dates: March 17th, 18th, and 19th

• Time: 7:30am to 4:00pm each day

• Location: Vermilion Parish Transportation Department

• MUST bring a valid Louisiana Driver's License

• Please bring an ink pen and highlighter

• You are welcome to bring snacks. We usually break for  lunch between 11:30-11:45.
